Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position.
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Gavin Price and a research team on an NSF funded project, using fMRI to investigate the development of symbolic number processing brain mechanisms longitudinally from kindergarten through 2nd grade. The successful candidate will play a lead role in the project, with responsibilities including participant recruitment, experimental design, data collection and analysis, and preparation of manuscripts for publication.
Ideal candidates will have a PhD in psychology or neuroscience/cognitive neuroscience and experience with fMRI data collection and analysis. Existing expertise in the field of numerical/mathematical cognition is an advantage.
Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience conducting fMRI research with young children.
